Fadi Moughanni obtained his LL.B in 1999 from La Sagesse University Faculty of Law (Beirut, Lebanon) and is a member of the Beirut Bar Association since 2000.
Mr. Moughanni started his legal career in Lebanon focusing his practice on insurance, civil and commercial law and handling civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution cases.
Before joining Bridge Legal Group as Of Counsel, Mr. Moughanni spent 10 years in Doha, Qatar at the Law Offices of Gebran Majdalani working as a Senior Legal Consultant on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.
Fadi Moughanni’s areas of expertise span across corporate, commercial, construction, banking, insurance and arbitration matters.
Mr. Moughanni regularly advises on the incorporation of companies and the drafting of all type of commercial agreements including joint venture agreements, shareholders agreements, shares purchase agreements, consultancy agreements, technical services agreements, construction agreements and loan agreements.
Mr. Moughanni has advised developers, contractors and consultants on a range of disputes. The most recent major construction cases Fadi was involved in include a dispute for the value of $274 Million between Bilfinger Infrastructure Manhein GmbH (a German Company) and Tubin (a Turkish Company), a dispute between Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company and Halcrow Consulting Engineers & Architects for the amount of more than $182 Million and a $40 Million dispute between EWAI Korea /Hyundai and SPC.
Mr. Moughanni has also represented major corporations, insurance companies and banks in all type of disputes. He represented the International Bank of Qatar in a number of loan claims for a total value of more than $60 Million and Metlife/UAE (Previously Metlife Alico/UAE); in a number of insurance claims for a total value exceeding $5 Million.
